Arkansas School Prinicipal Recognized for Work in Student Health

A school principal from the Springdale School District was honored during the National Association of Elementary School Principals Awards Gala held in Washington, DC on October 17, 2014. At the event, 61 principals from across the country were recognized for their hard work and dedication to providing a sound foundation for learning and achievement in their schools.

The principal from Walker Elementary School, Dondi Lea Frisinger, was recognized for increased student involvement in academics and social issues and for forming student fitness and health programs in her school.
