Arkansas Center for Health Improvement

Statewide Learning Network

As part of the governor’s Healthy Active Arkansas framework, the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) is hosting a series of Statewide Learning Network meetings, funded by the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas, to inform, recruit, and mobilize new champions to assist us and our partners in addressing the state’s obesity crisis. These meetings are geared at community leaders who serve a critical role in guiding local efforts to reduce obesity, a major factor in improving overall health.

The regional meetings allow attendees to hear from Healthy Active Arkansas team members about the plan’s nine priority areas and successes thus far, engage with local leaders who have championed efforts in their communities, and find targeted areas where attendees can activate others in their communities to strengthen efforts to address the obesity crisis. Attendees are provided with tools to help them encourage and enable healthier lifestyles in Arkansas.

You can find videos detailing our nine priority areas by clicking here.
