Arkansas Health Data Division
The Arkansas Health Data Division was established to support the work of ACHI. It is ACHI's ’s belief that data is
a critical component of health policy and program development. The goal of the ACHI's Data
Division is to make Arkansas-specific data available for use in addressing the
state’s health policy needs.
ACHI has assembled a team of computing specialists, statisticians, and
programmers to support ACHI Strategic Initiatives and to assist outside public
and private organizations with data analyses of their own or publicly available
data sets. To support this effort, the Arkansas State Legislature passed Act
1035, which give ACHI access to public health databases with the approval of the
various state agency heads.
